1. Power Bank -My Anker Portable Power Bank has been an absolute God send on my travels. I purchased this power bank over 5 years ago and its still going stronger than ever. I’ve been able to recharge my phone and Gopro’s multiple times throughout the day on this power bank. It’s heavy duty and charges everything super quick.
I’ll usually just charge this over night while I’m asleep and by the time I wake up, it’s fully charged and ready to be used! Honestly can’t tell you how many times I’ve been exploring a rural city somewhere or lost on an island with my phone with little to now charge. My power bank has saved me many times haha!
2. Hydroflask - Not only is my hydro flask a massive help in keeping things hot and cold for me for extended periods of time, it also reduces my plastic intake. I personally love Hydroflask because of how much liquid they hold and how great they are at keeping temperatures for long periods of time. No matter if you end up choosing Hydroflask or another brand, I highly suggest making the change to reusable water bottles over plastic ones! Let’s take care of our planet, on less plastic bottle at a time!
3. GoPro - I actually have 2 Gopros and plan to purchase the newest one very soon! These things are incredible to adventure travel and blogging. I’m sure everyones heard of go-pros by now, but the newest ones have the most incredible features. They are perfect in all climates and take amazing underwater photos. The are a must have while documenting your travels!
4. GoPro Telesin Underwater Dome - This is a massiiiive necessity for me as I take a ton of underwater/over water photos. I never leave home with out my Underwater Dome, it’s part of my staple necessities. These are typically what are being used when you see the incredible under/over water shots on travel bloggers instagrams! It captures perfectly above and below the surface. Purchase this bad boy to up your game on travel photography!

5. Sony a7iii or a6000 - This is my personal camera that I currently have but any of the Sony A series, are good enough for travel cameras. If you’re on a budget or just starting out, you can buy any of the a6000’s. I started with the a6000, I wasn’t a super professional photographer so I needed something that was user friendly that would also allow me to take awesome photos. I definitely suggest this camera for any beginners looking to get into photography. It’s at a decent price compared to many other massive DSLR cameras and like I said, is super user-friendly!
If you’re looking to get all the add ons like the SD cards, carrying case, extra battery, charger and more, check out this incredibly priced bundle like in the photo below!
6. Tripod & Wireless Remote - Y’all wonder how I take some of my photos while traveling solo?? With my tripod and wireless remote control which snaps photos of me. I’ll usually scope out a beautiful backdrop, set up my Sony A6000 camera onto my tripod, then run in front where I pose and snap the photo via my wireless remote. The remote comes separately from the camera, but there are tons of options online for universal ones that work with most cameras! The same goes for tripods, but this is the particular tripod and Wireless remote that I use because they’re both decently priced and easy to use.
7. Waterproof Bag - Waterproof bags for me are a must as I travel primarily to tropical places…. for now haha. You’d be surprise how much they are needed to keep your not so waterproof technologies, from getting wet! These Waterproof Bags are the ones I travel with and absolutely love, so make sure to grab one before your next tropical vacation!
8. Water Proof phone Case - Y’all… I can’t tell y’all how many times i’ve seen people ruin their phones while travel… Yes they say that iPhone is water resistant but do you know what that salt water does to your phone?! They may be a bit pricey, but you know whats pricier? Either having to fix your phone from salt water damage or having to buy a new phone all together!
9. International adapter - This tends to be a small but very useful item that seems to always be overlooked! These things are tiny gems y’all while traveling. Most plugs are different in every country. Buy an International adapter so you’ll be prepared to use any outlet you’ll find around the world. I use mind literally every time I’m traveling. My last trip I went on I went to 4 different countries and each one had different outlets so my international adapter seriously came in handy!
10. Disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer and baby wipes - This was before the pandemic even started but I ALWAYS make sure to always have these 3 things on me at all times while traveling… It may sound like a joke, but when you’re in a foreign country that doesn’t believe in toilet paper or on a dirty airplane for 20+ hours, these items will make you feel like a new person haha! You’ll thank me later, but add all of these things to your list of travel necessities!!
